Famous for appearing in the Hollywood film, Showgirls, Cheetahs operates two clubs; one in Las Vegas and the other in San Diego.
A topless strip club, there are a huge number of women operating in Cheetahs Las Vegas with as many as 500 girls on different shifts over a 24-hour period.
In this Cheetahs review, we’ll take a look at what awaits inside the black-lit topless dancing club on Western Ave. We’ll look at the venue’s facilities, special offers, and the best times to visit…
Cheetahs Las Vegas Review: Topless Dancing on Western Ave
Besides being a popular strip joint, Cheetahs has a number of quirky attractions beyond lap dances, stage shows and striptease.
It’s home to the retired professional wrestler and businessman, The Godfather, you can meet the WWE legend at Cheetahs every Friday and Saturday night between 10pm and 2am.
Pimpin’ ain’t easy!
The venue appears to take a lot of inspiration from your classic sports bars around Nevada.
Indeed, they operate four football nights with beer bucket specials and the atmosphere is a little more ‘laddish’ than at other gentlemen’s clubs. There is a big screen TV which airs the big games.
Cheetahs is friendly and can be considered more casual and relaxed than other venues. There’s less of the pretentious bouncer headbanging than you’ll find at some of the other clubs. The staff appear pretty chilled and happy to be there.
Overall the place has a touch of Las Vegas as you’d want to find it; a retro vibe of dark pole dancers beneath neon lighting.
It’s well decorated and clean with a wide variety of dancers available but nevertheless feels like stepping back in time…as if you’re on the set of the 1995 film.
Prices are on the high side for alcohol but the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. For many, including the locals, Cheetahs is a welcome break from the glitz and glamour of the superclubs on the strip; a club with plenty of bite and as much bang as you’ve got bucks for.
Don’t expect a cheap night.
But then… why would you go to a Vegas strip club if you were saving money?!
Facilities at Cheetahs
Cheetahs is decorated with plenty of neon lights and features a plethora of dancing poles from which some stunning ladies are permanently writhing.
In addition, there is a main stage and several side stages which host the main dancers and performances. There are a couple of VIP areas including the mirrored private set-up of the ‘G-Spot’ where you can enjoy private lap dances along with bottle service.
A free lunch buffet service of pizza and wings runs daily from noon to 5pm to encourage early punters through the doors.
They run regular bachelor and bachelorette parties and, at weekends, the place can get very lively with hedonistic pleasure seekers. The music is thumping and the DJ plays a wide range of popular beats to keep the atmosphere hot.
The lighting is dark and gives the place an erotic edge which is lacking in some of the brighter venues; however, it doesn’t suit everyone so be prepared. This is more of an authentic strip club experience, not your tourist-ified Vegas nightclub.
The décor is modern and with plenty of mirrors which gives a false sense of how large the place is. It’s no Sapphire for size.
They serve food but expect regular bar snacks instead of sushi.
The club runs regular seasonal events but operates a weekly rota of dates, each with different offers and themes:
|Sunday||Football night with beer bucket specials|
|Monday||Football/Industry night – complimentary drinks after 9pm with industry ID|
|Tuesday||2-4-1 Night – Buy one drink, get the second free|
|Wednesday||Daily happy hour – 7am to 8pm|
|Thursday||Football night with beer bucket specials|
|Friday||Feed your crew – Pizza & Wings prize for biggest crew|
|Saturday||Football night with beer bucket specials|
Open 24 hours a day every day of the year, Cheetahs is permanently open.
The busiest time to come is on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm onwards.
It can get super busy with bachelor and bachelorette parties, although there are noticeably fewer of them than you’ll see at other large clubs.
